View Full Version : Best creatine...
I saw one for 17 bucks but with 33g of sugar each serving so I didn't bother.
What do you recommend?

Depending on what type of sugar it is, that's actually the preferred delivery system. Carbs + creatine.
But any will do. I use Prolab because it's cheap. But creatine monohydrate = creatine monohydrate pretty much. Find whatever works for your pocket and you should be good to go.

I am not a big creatine advocate (since it hasn't worked well on me), but I've tried:
Cell-Tech: I'd give it a 7 for effectiveness, but its too expensive....u can find the same ingredients in a creatine mix made by scitech
Human Development Monohydrate: I'd give it a 4 for effectiveness, maybe it was my fault for creating a faulty delivery system.
The Edge Effervescent: I'd give it an 8 for effectiveness, it's inexpensive too....a few of my friends have blown up on the stuff, I wasn't so lucky, but it still did a respectable job.

Just mix a lt of sugar with creatine and you'll have Cell-Tech at a fraction of the price. I don't understand how you people can suport a company that uses the scams they do.

Youre so ignorant. I tried Cell Tech about 3 years ago...I thought I would mention it in my review of creatine products I've tried. I knew some meathead would say "ewww muscletech bababaa!", just to please their fellow internet heads. Unless you were a forum member before you started lifting, you most likely tried it. Nobody argues that Cell Tech isn't overpriced, but the whole "I am a WBB member and I hate Muscletech" role is so overplayed.

And for the record, I never tried Cell-Tech.One look at those ads in muscle rags told me all I needed to know.

I just looked at the ingredients and figured it'd be much cheaper to make my own. This was before I joined WBB.

Memphis, where do you buy your supplements? EAS is not over priced. EAS Phosphagen HP is half the price of Muscle tech. Muscle Tech is way over priced for Creatine spiked Kool-Aid.

EAS rocks!!!! I'm a phosphagen user myself. But I just bought a jar of Synthevol, thought I'd give it a try. Their aren't many companies I trust. And that's what it comes down to, who cares what you paid for it if you don't get what you paid for. These companies are only minimally regulated, so buyer beware!
Thanks fellazs, I'll pick up that creatine today.

Creatine is manufactured product. If not manufactured with the correct protocol impurities will result. These impurities break down into compounds that are harmful. CREAPURE™ products are produced exclusively by SKW Trostberg AG in Germany. All material is certified for its top quality and purity so look for the Creapure trademark...Prolab is such a reseller of Creapure.
Just mix it with OJ or your favorite fruit juice. If your limiting your sugars or carbs mix it with your coffee in the AM. You won't get as much transport, but then you won't be spiking your insuline levels. 1st search result in Google for creapure is very good article.

I was under the impression that you should not take creatine and caffiene together because they can both compete for the same receptor site (something along those lines). I believed this was mentioned in another thread.

I havent done alot of reseaching on there prices....im sure i probably could get them cheaper and i do agree that muscle tech is overpriced...at least for there cell tech....i dont mind paying the extra for the nitro tech....works well for me...but from a few stores that ive stoped in at....including gnc....they were rather pricey.....synthevol 2 was like 94.99....and that only 19 servings....and betagen was bout 149.99 for 19 servings too...i think...but EAS is still good....the phosphoagen hp has a pretty good price....but some of there stuff is just a little too much compared too other companies....but oh well

memphis,
that GNC must be marked up. Synthevol 2 is around $40 from EAS I'm sure you could get it cheaper elsewhere. I don't know for the HMB off hand but it's not over 100 more like 60.

GNC does suck ass, the only time that I buy s*** from them is when it's on sale. ( 2 months before the expire date)
