Sorry if this has been discussed before. I weigh 160 and was wondering about my after workout meal. I am mixing powdered Gatorade with creatine for my carbs and was wondering about how many carbs I should be shooting for?

I usually take about 70g of dextrose with my creatine. Then I also have a bannana with my protein shake.

It's not just the quantity, but the type of carbs. 50g of carbs from dextrose will spike your insulin much more than 100g of carbs from oatmeal or some other low GI carb. Get some dextrose, and you can't go wrong.
