I just wanted to introduce myself "formally" by posting my pic.

I also wanted to let all of you know that this forum has really impressed me with the quality of the people in it. I've quietly surfed the posts and gotten to know a little bit about most of the "regulars", and I can honestly say that the comaraderie is outstanding. If there is ever any advice or opinion that any of you may need, please feel free to ask away. You've all earned my respect.

(BTW, My wife and dog are also in the picture. That's my whole world right there.)

You look great! Nice shoulders... plus the black and white coloring adds a dramatic effect to the pic! :) Good work, keep it up!

10-26-2002, 11:15 AM
Thanks fellas...

Always good to get motivated with a little positive feedback!

I'll be posting more in a couple of weeks when I'm into the split-workout a little more.

This pic is after a re-intro of some circuit training to get back in the swing of things.

Don't really know what to tell you there, BC. My chest may appear that way in the pic, cuz I don't really think it's holding much BF.

I'll see what I can do about posting another one soon to give a better perspective on it.

Here's another slightly different angle...

Sorry about the poor posture!

10-26-2002, 11:53 AM
Looking swol Damian. Nice size.

Good job bro!

10-26-2002, 04:26 PM
Wife looks fit too

10-26-2002, 04:37 PM
Great physique. Damnit...there are too many in-shape people here. I'm gonna have to find wannabeafatslob.com or something to one day impress people. Too much competition here!

Looking good man, keep up the hard work.

10-27-2002, 06:43 AM
Okay okay...

Thanks guys and gals...
Reinier, thanks again for the help initially...
Mista_bob, MonStar...appreciate it!
BennettBoy...I think a saw your pic somewhere, and you're not looking too bad yourself there, bro!
ElPietro...I saw yours, and you're looking flat-out MEAN man! Any bulking tips?
Avatar...easy, there...all in due time. (Let's just say that my wife and I went toa Pimp n' Ho party last night. If there's ever a thread started about this years Halloweeen costumes, I would STRONGLY recommend you check our picture out.)
Beastin, BlitzForce...you're killing me. See above.
Miss Rezza...never fails, does it?
Kimpy Thank you very much...my tattoo has a very special meaning to me, so it's nice to hear a compliment on it.
Black Curtain...You're guess is as good as mine.

I really appreciate the feedback ...as we all know, it's a labor of love that we put ourselves through every day, and it's nice to get results from your hard work. Especially when you have a BAD case of dysmorphia like I do.
I've still got a ways to go, and it's forums like this that make it just that much more fun.

Depends on how quick you want to bulk, and how clean. If you are very conscious of fat gain, then you should just start with something slightly higher than maintenance. Make sure you are getting a healthy amount of calories from all 3 macronutrients. I'm not a big diet expert though. I'm sure you'll find better advice in the diet forum. But it's not really rocket science.

Fess up, ElP. Tell him about the "barley shakes". :D

P.S. Lookin' good, Damian. Good proportion and size. Is that a scar or just a heinous stretch mark at the juncture of your right arm/chest?

10-30-2002, 09:20 PM

Thanks so much! I appreciate the feedback more than you all know.

Callahan...It must be a picture trick. I don't have stretchmarks (whew!), and my only scar is on my left shoulder from a prior surgery.

(P.S...barley shake? How do you make one! LOL!)

Take bottle, remove cap, serve chilled. :)

Holy crap, I must say that the composition of that photograph is just awesome. Extremely artfully done, and the light value is very nice.

Is that retouched, who took that? Damn. I'm impressed. I wish all of these photos could look so good.

11-01-2002, 03:50 AM
you look great...the perfect size and shape

11-03-2002, 09:44 PM
looking good Damian

how long have you been training??

also whats your weight?

11-04-2002, 10:46 AM
Thanks, man...

I've been seriously training for about five years or so, but on-and-off for up to eight. I've competed in all kinds of sports, including adventure racing and endurance competitions, so my weight has fluctuated according to whatever I was into at the time.

Right now I'm weighing 204 and rising.
