i had two in the toughman

one did not fight

other won friday night and one fight saturday but could not continue because of shoulder


toughman has gone to super novice,novice and open. double elimantion tourney. It was different to say the least but at least theres a better chance that beginners wont fight guys that have 47 toughman victories. As was the case on the second night of my first toughman

my fight in june is off i had a chance to fight may 1st in ardmore against one of the caveman fighters but thats too short notice. I think something is still in the works for this summer

weight 210 and dropping

weights and grappling at moment

update everything is going well have no fights but have been training a few fighters at my gym. One will fight NOv. 13th at tulsa. I am 195 and feeling well. Deciding if i will fight again cause if not going to get my nose fixed. ( my left canal is closed) I also have some calcuim built up on my right eye. Training wise i have been doing bamboo strikes and am very confident now in my standup. I sparred a few weeks ago and koed my trainer in 30 seconds or so. with 16 oz gloves. RIght now everyting in standup is super slow to me i feel like i am barely putting out energy and everyone i spar is stuck in mud

i am looking to make some serious strength gains by winters end i will squat and press 400 and dead 600. i weight 195 right now. ( ofoarse it will be a close grip bench )

RIght now everyting in standup is super slow to me i feel like i am barely putting out energy and everyone i spar is stuck in mud

i am 375 on a good day close grip nick my squats are 315x8 on a good day and i havnt deaded in a while but my shrugs are over 700 lbs( i have a vid of close grip and maki has a vid of shrugs

been busy but everthing is great i am 202 havnt trained in a few weeks but have a fighter fighting his second fight in september. Ross Purity trains at my gym and is moving to nebraska soon so i will try to set up a spar with him before he leaves out only problem is he has a reach about 6 foot long. Anyway miss talking to some of you guys and as always i am looking to travel. Probably take my girl to germany next yr but looking for a cool summer spot for a week or so maybe charleston or vegas or heck Y maybe florida again but this time you got to chill for a bit show a cracka some sites lol

update

was in europe over holidays did the proposal under eiffel on new yrs

training is speratic because of work mostly weights when i have time i did deadlift 490 wed lifts about the same except doing no chest work because shoulder is bad

update:

Getting marrried in june and weighing 200 lifts all about same doing alot of interval stuff when i do train. trying to geti rid of some heavy lifting and found a nice back work out which consists of 120 reps per set and can be done with only a pull up bar. You can also use a pull down and set to moderate weight do 10 wide to shoulder width and 10 with hands together then drop weight and repeat untill you hit 120.
I have also been doing alot of stability ball work and bodyweight exercises that kill me.

I'm just getting back into boxing after a long, long layoff. I have been lifting and have managed to get much fatter, but stronger. :p

thanks for the replies guys. I have been training mma and personal training aswell. I got an athlete trying to increase vert so we have been training with jumps and jumps he is at 45 now i started last week with him and can do 42 i think 45 would be my one jump max but its giving me a new motivation to try to achieve i would like 50 this time next yr

i should clarify we are doing box jumps and reaction jumps i can do 42 inch jumps for reps and want to get to 50 inch box jumps

one of my training partners is going to big bear to train with joe stevenson for a week. Hopefully he dosnt piss anyone off and we can network a bit for one of my other friends and masters of cage heavy weight champ

ok 3 months ago i was sick had strep,bronchitis and sinus infection. My dumb ass didnt go to the doc for a week thinking i just had a sinus cold. I was working on a 3-fold closet door when i ripped it out on accident. I put it in the garage on its side(probably 2 feet tall) Thanksgiving day i go to get a few chairs and i guess when i carried them out i hit the closet which then fell on my ankle. SHould just be an owweee right? well i fractured my fibia and damaged some ligs in my ankle.


on a plus note i am doing ok and will where my cast 3-4 weeks and see whats up after that i am still training. DId legs yesterday 225 squat with smith and body weight uni lateral stuff

got some new thai pads *twins* they are stiff i mean cracking shins stiff. i love them

also took my first hit in the market the other day i thought it was stealing for about a month and picked up a stock long term and got bit a bit. Still think i will double on it but may take a yr lol

vietnam is 60 days away cant wait.

i am now clearing 42 inch box jump(jumping over landing on ground)

ruben my friend is fighting back from shoulder injury we did sled sprints with 90 lbs on sled for 10 reps no rest

sldl 275 3 sets 10

had a nice day in the market on monday (it helps my workouts lol)

Coke he leaves out this sunday for taping Ryan Lopez is his name. Airs this fall.

today did 275 reps for chest in 40 mins.

80 being body weight pushups with one leg 90 degrees and other on stability ball
195 reps on db flys,
bench and plate loaded press

leaving for vietnam next week

oh another guy i havnt talked to in a while Wayne Cole from Norman just won on elite xc(beat mike kyle) and is oon Saturday night fights(second show) coming up

cave man rows 6 wheels 4sets 6 reps strip set on last rep.

100 pull ups (30 of which are swithces(switching grip mid movement underhand to overhand)

200 pushups(3 sets)
300 bw squats(4 sets)

another friend came in as we were finishing so i did 3 rds of kicks with him and 3 rds of shadow boxing then we completed above workout.

did some lunges with 110 lbs on back probably 40 step sets(around perimeter of a room) 3 sets

pulls for reps rows 3 sets 10 reps 185

underhand inside grip pulldowns 4 sets 12 reps 160

one hand pull ups on assisted bar 80 lbs resistance 5 reps each arm 5 sets
