*Let me preface this thread by saying I've already done a search and got nothing really conclusive about this supplement.*


Has anyone ever tried this? I did a little Google research on this to find out that Lecithin helps do a lot of stuff in your body like increase your energy level, prevent cardiovascular disease, improve sexual function, repair damage from alcoholism, help in digestion of fat soluable vitamins. It also helps fat and cholesterol to be dispersed in water and then removed from your body. The list of benefits goes on and on.

Imagine how useful this can be on a cutting cycle! Especially when combined with an ECA!

Has anyone else tried this out? Seen any benefits? I'm thisclose to getting some tomorrow, but I'd like to see how more I can find out about it.

i have a bottle of lecithin but i dont know whats it for, my parents bought a bottle like 2 months ago. Can someone tell us some info. on this stuff please????

Lecithin does has some positive effects on your body. I'm not an expert, but I do notice more energy and a little bit of an increase in my recovery time. You have to take a lot though. Three pills at each meal, and they're big pills.

Firstly a big hi to anyone reading in this thread, this is my first post.

I have used Lecithin for many years with great health benefits and would therefore like to share some of the bits & pieces that I remember reading about it with you guys.

Right, Lecithin is mainly obtained from soya beans, it's rich in something called phosphatidyl choline (don't ask me to elaborate as i am not a scientist) which is apparently a nutrient which plays a very important role in the breakdown of fats in the liver and the emulsificaton of fat in food.

i have always used the granules, sprinkled on cereal with milk, they are far better than the capsules by all accounts with one teaspoon ful equivalent to 18 x 270mg tabs

i have got my container with me and will now type the rest of ingredients listed

INGREDIENTS
Soya Lecithin : providing 'phospholipids 97%'
Containing:
Phosphatidyl choline
Phosphatidyl inositol
Choline
Inositol
Phosphorus

regarding the benefits I refer to above, mainly for when weight/fat loss is desired, believe me it works very well, i lost an incredible amount of weight a while ago without even exercising, just eating very low cals with a lot of cereal and soups, the fat just went (although I was VERY strict with the food) and i just know that the Lecithin helped because I remembered from a long time ago when I did a big study of meganutrition that Lecithin was referred to more often than liver was and in the multitude of books that i went thru believe me that liver was mentioned so very often because it contains so many nutrients as does Lecithin supposedly (in addition to the above listed main ones).

so, there you go, my few cents worth for the board, i would strongly recommend getting granules rather than caps, oh &btw, it's fairly cheap (here in the uK that is), for me a 500g tub costs £7 and that lasts quite a long time.:cool:

Sorry, this sounded like a very biased opinion.

Perhaps you tried it, and it didn't work for you, or you didn't use it right or whatever.

I've noticed some changes already in the three days I've been taking it.

When used in conjunction with an ECA, the stuff seems to be HIGHLY effective.
