Hi everyone, i'm trying to lose some weight and i read how it's good to eat 5 or 6 smaller meals per day instead of the standard '3 squares a day'. due to my school and work schedule i cannot do this except for on Sundays. how detrimental will it be to my weight loss routine if i simply eat 3 well balanced meals per day along with my lifting and cardio work?

Mix in some MRP shakes as the other meals and your all set.

please excuse my newbieness, but what exactly is an MRP shake and where would i buy them? Would a supermarket carry them or would need to go to a place like GNC?

MRP = Meal Replacement Powder which can be used to replace a normal food meal. they contain various types of proteins (whey, caesin etc), some carbs and sometimes a small amount of fat.

MRP's pretty much come in 3 types. one high calorie version, one medium calorie version and another that's low cal.

You can get them at GNC. I wouldn't as GNC far from the best place to buy supplements. there are many online retailers that sell nutritional supplements at far better prices than GNC and with a much greater selection.
