I'm just curious.

It would probably benefit them, wouldn't it? If they took a protein shake with dextrose after their workout. It wouldn't make them bulk up at all would it?

I think we all know how hard it is for a woman to "bulk up" and if that's what she's worried about than why waste time lifting in the first place.... a woman taking supps.... seems quite normal to me.

It's perfectly fine.

My wife takes some of the supps I use and she's not abnormally shaped or anything.

i have tried just about anything with any legitimate study behind it at one point or another....and i am fine .... except for the weird lump growing out of my neck

seriously - anyone who w8 trains needs to ensure they eat (and/or supplement) appropriately. i've always been a huge advocate for higher protein in the diet -- and protein powders have served their purpose well for me.

anyone who is involved in weight training and serious about gaining LBM or strength should be supplementing with some sort of protein powder

Protein is protein...if she wants to, go for it.

i think it's fine, Actually any supplement would be good if she's serious about lifting, the only one i would stay away from is Andro, unless she's really SERIOUS!!(if you know what i mean)

Yeah, no problem at all. And if you're real hardcore like myself, you'll try dissolving winny and primo tabs in your gf's beverages.

There needs to be MORE girls working out with heavy weights and taking protein supps like the rest of us. Somehow, girls have this misconception that if they lift anything heavier than 10 lbs and take any supps at all that they'll suddenly turn into Ms Olympia.

No, I don't want this world to be filled up with 220 women who are stronger and more cut than most men, I like my woman to be woman. I have nothing against women who want to lift weights but I would prefer the sexy woman over the cock deisel woman.

220 women is a small number.
