Last night I woke up with a small case of diarrhea ... well, I assume that this is from a lack of fiber. Do you agree? Either way, what are some high fiber foods, besides cereals. Thanks

I thought that was the other way around. Usually with hard stool, you need to eat more fiber. As a kid, my mom used to make me drink MetaMucil (spelling?). Anyway, that stuff was awful.

Fibre is undigestible carbs.
Beans are quite high in fiber, but too MUCH would give you diarrhea, not too little.
beans, some nuts, pea nuts, some fruits and veg(though normally are relative to kcal level).

Thanks guys... if you guys dont think it was a fiber issue, and assuming it wasn't food poisoning, is there any element or nutrient, vitamin or substance that would generally cause diarrhea?
