To expound / and or expand on the subject, I have also heard very good things about liver tabs to help cut back sugar cravings. Besides all the other benefits it affords.

It isn't an appetite suppressant per se. It keeps you less hungry for a longer period of time, via its effect on CCK (stomach hunger hormone).
And thats just fat in general not flax specifically.

Thanks guys. Because ive been stupid. I read somewhere that flax is good for you, and so started taking one cap a day, it seemed to make me feel better throughout the day so i upped it to 3 caps a day. Then i found my appetite became non-existant and combined with a recent injury, a breakup and exams I have lost 5kg!!!!
Needless to say I ditched the flax and replaced it with Chocolate milkshakes containing 2 whole eggs twice a day. Tuna intake has been upped also.

the horrid smell always takes away my appetite :(
I usually take it drizzled on food or by the spoonful before bed.
Just gulp it down, its not too bad.
