You eastcoasters may want to wake up a little early if you want to catch it and the west coasters should stay up later.

I've got an icechest full of beer and my 10" dobsonian scope sitting on my back porch. I'm hoping this will be totally sweet.

I have no telescope but will be driving an hour up the mountain to get away from the lights

Good call, man. I live in the hill country so the light pollution around here isn't too bad. I just hope it doesn't get cloudy. I will be whipping some meteorologist ass if it does.

Yeah it is kinda cloudy here at the moment but hopefully it will clear up by the time the showers start... there is a slight breeze out.

A telescope, or even binoculars, would give too narrow of a field of view to enjoy the shower. The naked eye is best here. Driving to get to dark skies is the best way to see this. I hope the skies are clear here in the morning. Let us know how it went for you.
