Give me some ideas.....
When I first recorded my message I was pretty blunt: "Hi this is Eric leave a message"
I just changed it to: "Hello.........how are you doing?............good...........well this is Eric's voicemail so leave a message."
Im looking for something creative.

i change my message almost every week
i usually bust beats on my drum set or play a little music
heres an idea:
"yoyo this is ericg in the place to be, too busy to answer my phone, so leave a message at the mother fcuking tone" ::slaphoe:::
Ever see the Seinfeld with Costanza's message? "Beleive it or not George isnt at home, so please leave a message, at the beep. If I were here Id pick up the phone, where could I be? Beleive it or not Im not hooooooooooome." :D
Lmao, that George one is hilarious. I downloaded it off kazza and I watch it whenever I need a good laugh.

Our current message is our dog barking because we wouldn't throw her the ball. People that know us know what is going on. People that don't know us, well I probably don't want to talk to them anyway.

Anyone who's ever tried to phone him and got his voicemail will know that Yatesy has the BEST voicemail going.

and its funny because he did it in a really sarcastic-happy voice like he really did care haha

mine sounds like some sort of phone sex line apparently, but my brother's is pretty funny....
ring-ring...
"WHAT?!!!"
pause...
"okay, i'm not here right now..leave a message" and then you hearing him cracking up.
The first time i heard it, i was about to cuss him out for answering his phone so rudely. *lol*

Thanks for the links. So far I like this one the best from those sites.
"Hi. I'm probably here, I'm just avoiding someone I don't like. Leave me a message, and if I don't call back, it's you."

cheesy but fun
*cue Mission Impossible soundtrack*
Your mission, should you choose to accept it
is to leave a coherent message
including your name, number and purpose of your call
as always, if you are captured or killed, Callahan will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
This message will self destruct in 5...4...3...2...1...BEEEEEP

Nah, you'll have to either ask him, or et his number and try phoning him.
It won't be as funny if i just tell you guys.
Let's just say this: it's not entirely sensible, and it suits him to a tee.
