I just got a new monitor today, and even though I fiddled with the buttons I can't get it to the way it was before.

Is there some keyboard combo(ie ctrl, alt, delete)that will re-center the screen?

The little buttons on the monitor itself.

I'm sure I saw my cousin do some key board button combo that made the screen perfectly centered.Maybe on one the tech people on the forum can help

It's a Panasync S50,but don't worry about it guys and girls. It took a while but I got it close enough and I'll find out the answer to my question on my own later.

Thank you anyway

he's right. almost all monitors have there view contrls on that little panel underneath.

one moves the creen horizontal, one moves it vertical, one increases the vertical pitch, one increases the horizonatal pitch, and one degausses. that's the standard.

a tip for next time? don't fiddle with them.

what does the degauss one do?

i press it and the screen has a spasm?

it demagnetizes the screen. ( i think). it bascially gives it a electromagnetic charge, so that all the little lightwaves readjust themselves. it's good to do when you have a darkspoty, or it's been sitting next to a lamp and flickering or soemthing.
