i started my cut 14 weeks ago and have been recording my one-time weekly weight every sunday night at midnight(i use a digital scale where i work) . so it's always a consistant day/time/same scale. do all of you just do a once a week "weigh-in" on a certain day and time?? or do you do daily weigh-ins?

I weigh myself at the end of every workout. Probably about 4 times every week.

I'd like to hear what the best time is to. Personaly I record my weight everytime I wo in my journal. But that is differant times and days. I've looked at in the morning. Some nights I drink alot water when I sleep other I don't. Sometimes I sh*t 4 times before noon. A scientific approach would be to gather many data points. To me once a week isn't correct, though alot of people do. The same time a day a few times a week sounds good to me. This is not based on any fitness philosify, just good practices for collecting data.

Personally I don't think it really matters. In weekly even daily weightings there will be abberations that will be due to many variables of your body. Just keep wieghing yourself when ever and just make sure that the numbers are on the increase. (Some might be lower one day then higher another, but the trend is upwards). If can same time same day of the week IMO is ideal

It makes the most sense to record your weight first thing in the morning because, at this time, the fewest outside factors have affected your weight for the day.

why would you want the numbers to be on the increase? you mean if you're bulking, right?

I dont weigh myself, I'd rather look at myself to guage progress.

So the answer to your question is...six times a year, before a workout, recorded that night.
