Is there advantages of using one over the other. I know the seed has some more fibre but as far efficiancy and moneies worth which one is better.

I am mainly talk about Flax but I am really generalizing all.

I say go for the oil, although both are QUITE disgusting, the oil you can get it all in one or two gulps.

I'm somewhat of a naturalist in that I'd always rather get my nutrients from more natural sources (i.e. olives vs olive oil, flax seed vs. flax seed oil). It takes a larger quantity of seeds to get the same volume of oil though (some seeds are undigested etc) so it really depends on how it fits into your personal diet.

If your diet doesn't really allow for the natural product, then take the derivative product.

the seed will contain protein and fibre and other nutrients that the oil does not have, this is more evident in things like ground nut oil.
