View Full Version : Do you take chillipowder,spices,salt etc..into your calorie calculations?

real dumb question here....I know it doesn't matter much but still

When you guys says that you are eating 8 oz of Chicken or Tuna or whatever do you guys also log the nutritional values of chillipowder,salt,spices etc....?

salt does not have kcal value.

the amount of chillies poweder to get a significant kcal level from would have you drinking about 20 pints of beer to get rid of the heat.
though chillies are a good source of vit C and antioxidants if you can manage the heat.

Spices no but you should count sauces like ketchup and especially mayo bcs they have lotsa cals.
