Here's my question:
I'm trying to put on muscle--
need to real bad because I'm a
hockey player at 6'1", 170 lbs.
I'm wondering if I should do
cardio on the same days I do
weights. Upper body weights,

It's in my opinion that if you do cardio (and I really see the need if your trying to put on weight, save for heart benefits..) you should space it out like 8 hours from your lifting.
Just my 2 coppers.

What i meant by that was one day lift one day cardio etc.
I think it will only affect your bulking if you dont eat more cals to compensate. eg If you burn 1000 cals you eat 1000 extra on your normal bulking diet.

Sorry this is a newbie question, but how will doing cardio on the days you lift be bad for you? Don't a lot of atheltes hit the weight room and then turn around then then do some type of intense cardio? Thanks.
