I've read that the higher your insulin level is, the more yohimbine's fat-burning effect is blunted. I read this particularly when concerning Lipoderm-Y. Is that effect just dealing with topical yohimbine or any at all?

Yohimbine, period. It is actually less of an issue with Lipoderm-Y.
