I want to lower my estrogen levels just a bit so that I can get more definition in the upper-thigh region (this seems to be my only trouble spot seeing as how everywhere else on my body is solid). However, I'm a little weary of trying those "anti-estrogenic" supplements because I'm afraid of becoming flat-chested and going through "chemical menopause." Is it true that zinc can lower estrogen?

What makes you think that lowering estrogen levels will eliminate body fat?
Some people are naturally pre-disposed to storing body fat in certain areas, i.e. in your case its the upper thighs.
In order to eliminate you have to reduce the amount of calories your taking in and burn more than the amount (in total).
Remember there is no such thing as spot reducing, fat will go from all areas providing your diet is on track.

I'm assuming you're a female due to the flat-chest comment.
I really dont think that lowering your estrogen would be a good idea since...you know. Females carry weight in those areas, period. I doubt zinc would do very much even if it did have an estrogen-lowering property.
I dont know if I'd reccommed Arimidex or Aromasin at this point. You're what, 17? Prime birthing period, dont **** with your body. Wait a few years before going hog wild.

Naw. I really, really doubt you'll notice a difference.
Lowering your estrogen via various anti-e's out there (like the ones budiak mentioned) would work, but at your age, that's a crazy idea. I'd go the ECA/Yohimbine route first. What's your bodyfat at?

extremely poor idea...
Not only would using things like arimidex lower estrogen, but it would also raise your ratio of testosterone to estrogen which can only result in virilizing (READ masculinizing) characteristics appearing
Just to clear up another aspect, estrogen does lead to women holding more bf then men. It is a necessary part of being the sex which bears children.

That's what I was thinking. I'm really young and I only take an ECA once in awhile when I feel really sluggish and totally out of it. My bodyfat is in the 17-19% range. I'm not trying to lose weight, just the last bit of fat from one particular area. I know theres no such thing as spot-reduction, so I'm thinking that I may as well just deal with it, because I definately don't need to lose any more fat anywhere else. It may also just be mostly muscle, because when I sort of flex that area the fat seems to "disappear."

"I just learned something new, i didn't think that estrogen affected body fat, but now i know it does "
the converse is true, excess body fat results in a greater amount of estrogen production for both men and women
