For all who commented on my original creatine + ECA stack:

I took all of what was said and put it to the test (that's why I've not commented on this for a couple of weeks or more). I will not bore you with the procedure I used, but here are the results FOR ME: 1) creatine works @ 5mg/workout; 2) liquid creatine is better (and $26.xx worth lasts me for at least 6 wks); 3) ECA "Stack" @ ~25mg Ephedrine ALKALOIDS + 81mg Aspirin + 200mg Caffine is working well also.

At the same time that I was experimenting with the above, I noticed that my run endurance increased by almost 50%. I know this could be all or part psychological, but I don't think it is.

If I find that this changes I'll report same.

Thanks all.

I believe that Ephedrine helps aerobic capacity--at least that is what a kineseologist friend of mine told me once. Plus creatine can be good for this as well, so that wouldn't surprise me too much.

the eca will definately keep you focused....more than anything i think the eca is making the difference. a lot of people are goin to say that creatine in liquid form is useless. either way, creatine doesn't have nearly the same 'noticeable' effect as eca does on a workout.

if you really want to do a proper test for yourself (abiet i have no idea how you came to your conclusions), go off of the eca, then use the liquid creatine for 2 months, then try out the powdered. track your weight gain during this period, cause one thing to look out for is water retention. if you feel/look a bit more 'bloated' on the powder than the liquid then thats prolly a good hint that its more effective as saturating your muscles with water.

Creatine serum, I think that's what you are referring to, is hardly ever creatine when you do buy it. In liquid form, creatine quickly degrades to creatinine, which also commonly happens in the body. This form of creatine is considered a waste product by the body and disposed of, I think, through the kidneys.

There are a few tests out there that have shown that a good majority of what is left in creatine serum on the shelves is not creatine.

The serum products have also been known to use glycerol, which causes a water retention effect similar to creatine, but doesn't aid in ATP-CP metabolism the way creatine does.

To all on this thread:

Thanks. You've given me a couple of things to think about. I like to know what's going on in my body, so I will test some more, and, as you say goobermor, it will take a couple of months or more to do it fairly well and longer to be certain of everything. Nevertheless, I'm going to test everthing I can think of and will report to all of you when I next have something worthwhile to say.

"Tschoos y'all," as they say in Southern Germany (Just kidding).

Sarge,
Search the boards if you haven't already and you'll see what everyone has to say about the serum. I don't think there was one positive comment. Good luck.
