I heard today, that Iron pills give you way more energy than normal. And can help you weight train. Is this true?

Iv'e been taking iron pills for 4 months, now. I have to because of a medical condition. Since then, I have noticed more energy.

If you take iron as supplimentation, would it help?

Only if you are anemic.

For most healthy people, excess iron isn't a good idea. Males normally don't have any way to get rid of it....women of child-bearing age might have an excuse.

most people around here consume enough red meat and Dark green veggies to have plenty of iron :)

If you're that unsure, get a blood test done.

Unless you bleed alot for some odd reason, or have some condition, don't worry about iron.
