Why all the hatred for muscletech? Is it cuz there over priced or because there products don't work? I honestly want to know....

The credibility falls in my book when every sentence in the ad ends with an exclamation mark.

The advertising sucks, and whats worse is that they are misleading. The Lee Priest one is a prime example;
The advert would be far better for steroids; as his cutting concoction would make muscle-tech a minor part of his arsenal.

Yes I'm getting sick and tired of seeing how Lee Priest dropped 55 lbs in just 13 weeks! Ugh
and because they go to message boards and post undercover

They claim to spend millions on research when they actually spend millions on marketing and advertising. Cell Tech is sugar, kool aid and creatine. Nothing special about it. But I give it to them tho' they turn a protein powder and kool aid for creatine into the biggest marketing success. Muscletech is the epitome of marketing, now different distributors are using the same marketing tactic of the daunting 10 page ads.

I find their advertising insulting. The prices are ridiculous, but it's the ads that get to me.

I hate them because their ads take up half the pages in every magazine I buy...I'd never buy their crap, just for that reason alone. Plus, they must think we're all morons. I'm sure Lee Priest loses that much lard every year....it's called a cutting phase.:rolleyes:

And the women's ads for Hydroxycut are all of fitness competitors or models who have had babies and wanted to lose the baby weight. With the exception of Brandy Flores who had a knee operation and gained weight from being unable to do alot while it was healing. But they were totally up front in that ad. The rest of the ads make it out like these are women they just found and wanted to help out.
A lie of omission is still a lie.

Hell, between Muscle Tech and those damn "Myostatin Project" ads, it's almost pointless to buy a damn muscle mag anymore.
You're paying to see a book that's half about ads, 25% of actual training material, and 25% bull*****.

What's really funny is that if you go over to the HST site, at
www.hypertrophy-specific.com
And post a message with the text 'MuscleTech' in it, it gets starred out--just like **** and **** do here.
Apparently, Haycock doesn't want to get sued like George Spellwin (owner of the Elite board).
LMAO.
