Hi, How the hell do I measure pure creatine monohydrate? I recently bought 2kgs of it and I don't have a clue on how I would measure it. It doesn't come with a measuring scoop. I know that I'm gonna need 5 grams a day and arounf 10-20grams on my loading phase, but how will I measure it(accurately, not just like 1 teaspoon). Help me.. Iive searched the forum but haven't found an answer to my question. Thanks in advance!:D :D :D

well you could get an electronic scale, I think a rounded tea spoon is 5g - but if you have 2kg of the stuff surely a little either way is not going to be a real issue

Just use one heaping teaspoon as 5g and there is no need to load creatine.

Anyone know if there is validity in larger amounts for heavier people? At 225-230 should I be taking just 5 pre-workout, or say 4 pre and 4 post( or somewhere thereabouts).

Thanks in advance,

I usually use 10g, simply because I am bigger, and if I use too much it's no big deal. The ***** is cheap anyway. Generally I forget half the time anyway. Creatine doesn't have to be exact.

I'd say if you're huge and ripped, use upwards of 10g. Otherwise, you're fine with 5.

Ah, I might lean towards 5 then. I'm taking the creatine in the hopes that it will aid in my getting huge and ripped. I'm more big ( not due to muscle so much, I'm 6'2") and not so ripped now.

Thanks for the input.

I'm 5'6 and 180lbs. I'm taking 2 teaspoons per day. So this is around 10g right? Do I fill up the teaspoon that the powder piles up like a mountain? Or do I make it as flat as the teaspoon? Anyone here selling pure creatine for $5-6 per kilo?

One teaspoon would be enough IMO. Whether the teaspoon is level or heaping I don't think it will matter that much in the long run.
