Would supplementing BCAA's during a cutting phase help prevent muscle loss? Would there be any benefit?

Yes! Your brain can not tell the difference between dietary amminos in your blood and amminos that are there from muscle break down. By taking BCAAs you fool your body into thinking that you are breaking down too much muscle for energy and you convert over to fat burning mode in an effort to save muscle.
BCAAs are great when cutting.

i have found that BCAAs during a cut significantly help with recuperation after training. this effect is more noticeable during a cut because your calories are lower and, therefore, there is less available for repair.

branched chain amino acids = BCAAs
you can find them in tablets, pills, liquids or bulk powders
the amount of the aminos will vary as well so read the label
i prefer powder form because its the cheapest and i can easily add it to my concoction i drink during my workouts

I was having a brain fart. I've taken twin lab #?? in pills before. Never noticed one way or the other. But the theory seemed good.
