Has anyone ever tried this. Would you recommend it?

Stand against a wall, it's cheaper. Unless you have to build a wall I guess.

I've used it once, it works good. But I still agree with everyone else.

Never used. Lean against a wall, or do preachers.

And don't use more weight then you can handle. There you go. Ways to not use your back.

I'd recommend it but not for that price. I purchased mine at Wal-Mart for 8 bucks about a year ago. It's nice to have, but not gonna harm you whatsoever if you don't use it, and do your curls correctly.

man, the peaks on that guys arms look ridiculous.... i would recommend lifting a weight you can handle... or leaning against a wall.. or using a preacher bench... works better, and is cheaper

The peaks on that guy just look funny. Not really any mass just tiny little peaks on top. Put your back to the wall and curl. Simple and eliminates having to carry an extra piece of equipment with you to the gym.

I think the peaks on that gy look like the ones you used to see in cartoons, where the arms of a character would be completely flat, then this lil tiny bump where the bicep should be.
