I find my muscles aren't firm at all when I'm not flexing, but when I flex they're very hard. Could it be that I'm not getting enough protien?

How many Carbs are you eating?
Sounds like your muscles may be lacking glycogen.

Nope. That could be your retaining a lot of water, or have high BF, or just haven't worked out in a while so they don't really have any "pump" to them (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

my bf is getting high, cutting soon, Taking creatine but drinking tons of water and I worked out today.

could just be bad genetics =<

Heh, no you just said why their soft. One, your BF is getting high, so some of the squish your feeling is the fat on top. And Two, your taking creatine, creatine makes your retain water like a mofo.

but its only that they're soft, like when I flex my bicep, it perks right up and has a nice peak and everything, looks nice and round, as soon as I stop flexing it falls, lol yes it falls like in the cartoons.

Seems about normal, its genetics, not everyone has dense muscles.

It's down to diet. If you've got a high BF they won't be solid. Gylcogen stores are important too. You'll feel flat if your not getting enough carbs.
