Hey guys, I went out and bought some tortilla wraps to aid in my dieting for making ground beef and ground turkey burritos, but for whatever reason, I cannot find whole-wheat wraps. Ive been to the two major supermarkets in our area and couldnt find whole-wheat at neither, so I went with corn flour, or something like that. What Im asking is this okay for me or no? and where the hell do I find whole-wheat? at a healthfood store or something? Thanks.
well wraps are likely to be higher in fat and carbs than bread gram for gram.
eg wrap
60 grams of carbs per 100 grams
7 grams of fat per 100 grams
bread
40 grams of carbs per 100 gram
2.5 grams of fat per 100 gram

Hard to find whole wheat 'wraps' because of the way they are made, but they aren't bad. You can also find 98% fat free varieties which are pretty good.
Personally, I use tortillas (98% fat free) instead of the wraps. Stuff 4-6oz of lean ground beef (Maverick ranch) or chicken in that badboy with some grilled red peppers and onions and a handful of lettuce and that is some good stuff!
