Hey all,
I just signed up on fitday, and it calculated my bmr as 2226. Then it added in my lifesyle activity and my exercise calories burned on top of that for 3670 total. So if I want to reduce calories to lean out do I just go with the bmr number, or the total number? Yesterday was the first day I ever counted calories and I came up way short of even my bmr.
I was so suprised that I don't eat enough even though I'm a big guy.(235@18%bf). No wonder I've been stuck at 235 for over a month. So do I need to eat beyond my bmr for days that say I do cardio and/or weightlifting? And how do you all compensate for other activities like work or whatever?

Don't rely on the calculations, rely on what happens to YOU.
