What do you think the strongest nation in the world is? Bulgaria, USA, Germany, China..etc....?



Id say its probably the USA then Bulgaria. Whats your thoughts?

Bulgaria in second?? Hmm, I would have said china. US is definitely strongest though. Actually it depends on what exactly you mean by 'strongest'?

Israel.. seeing as how they pretty much run the United States and most of the U.N. for that matter.

Iceland, by far, they are nuts overthere, to bad their local strongman shows dont air, or maybe Finland.

scandinavia, iceland as mr rock says, the iron curtain countries.

they get government sponsoring, including for all the AS they use

Greece,Bulgaria,China.

USA?!? Provide us with some facts plz. We re not talking about baskeball here, nor are we talking about track and field.

At the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, the Greek weightlifting team took the first place.
The Greek team swept the medals in Sydney,once again, earning four in total. Greece ranked no1 with 4 medals; Bulgaria and China followed with 3.

Talking about powerlifting and olympic lifting. USA pretty much holds ever World Record in powerlifting. Its hard for us to compete in Olympic lifting b/c people here need to work. The females are doing a great job when it comes to Olympic lifting.

Well in that case I vote for Scandanavia. Greece may dominate Olympic lifts and the U.S. may hold most of the Powerlifting records in the world, but I think Strongman competitions are a better test of overall strength.

Id love to bring the gold back to USA with Olympic lifting. Thats what drove me the first time i went into the sport. Olifting is the most adictive sport on earth! I am hooked! Now I miss it cuss i went back to pling!
