A Fish.

Hi.. :)


I am wondering how many calories would this fishy would have. I dont know how many OZ it is, so I took a pic next to a 6 OZ can of tuna.

The fish type is "Cat Fish" (sp?), not too sure though.. well it does not stinck when cooked and is very soft. It has very little fat. The pic is taken before it was cooked.


maybe someone can help, I was guessing 400-500 calories but the fish gets smaller when cooked. ;)

buy a food scale

they are like $10 at Sears

then you'll know how many oz things are and can easily calculate calories

That looks pretty big to me... I agree with Callahan about getting a scale.
Usually 8oz of any fish gives about 35-40g protein.

If I remember correctly catfish has approximately 160 cals per 4oz.

Yeah, I been wanting to get one. But been to lazy to acutally look for one. I should go to the hardware store tomorrow.

I ate two of those suckers yesterday.. heh.. yea is big, but it does not fill me up. Not even two of them!:angel:


I would guess that one prob. has 8-10 oz., so that would be about 450-520 cals..
