View Full Version : Newbie's First Pics

I have been lifting since last July, However that was always just to stay in shape for hockey. Well now that I have quit hockey to pursue other intrests (eg. Snowboarding), I want to take my lifting and body to the next level, right now I'm 6'3.5 ft and 212 lbs.
And I'm not really sure which bodie parts I need to work on except that I need to lose like 20lbs which would aid in getting rid of my somewhat male boobs  and try to pack on some muscle.
Anyway just thought I would post my first pics and keep updating as I hopefully evolve :D
Oh ya how much bodyfat % does it look like I have cause I'm not really sure about how much % I have?

I'd say about 18% BF What do your arms measure?

just measured 17inchs
probably 16's-16.5's once I tone down.
my bench is like around 230lbs x1

You're doing great so far. You have a great base to work from and you've done very well on the arms. I'm no expert on the BF but I would have put it a bit lower.

Sorry, but those guns don't look like 17's to me. You and I have very similar proportions, and mine are only 13.5".

Not calling you a liar or anything, I'd just recheck my measurements. You have a great base, you can go far.

It's an honest mistake Mo, he wrapped the tape measure around twice.

I will try and get some better pics of myself tommorow when I have access to a digital camera.
How tight do you hold the string when measuring biceps I just held the string fairly snug but not pulling in on the muscle. either way though my biceps are high 16's to low 17's.

Pictures can be decieving. Mine measure 14.5" and look bigger than that, but then my body is smaller, so it's kind of an optical illusion!!!:D

Lookin big dude....keep training hard and dont stop eating just cos you wanna cut up, instead train harder.

His arms look 16 at least, bear in mind that the dude is 6ft3.

See now, I thought everyone here had 16" arms or better. It's nice to know I'm in good company with my 14"ers - pumped to the max.

At 212lbs and 6'3.5, you are one big dude plus you still have room to bulk.

Well your arms not to be mean, aren't that impressive but for a "newbie" your chest/abs look pretty good. Keep up the work.
