View Full Version : Should w/o + running be added to daily cal intake?

Should the calories burnt by running + working out be 'added' to the daily calorie intake in order to calculate the calories to be eaten in order to match the deficit?

ie... if I require 3200cal/day and I run+wo (800cals burn) I would have to eat 3250 calories to create a 750cal deficit (1.5lbs fat loss a week)

Am I getting this right?

I would just monitor my weight each week while keeping calories constant. If you notice that you aren't losing the desired amount of weight each week then decrease cals while keeping everything else constant.

In other words yes the cardio will help in increasing the caloric deficit.
