What are some good stores in the west end?? I need to invest in some wrist bands, belt, chalk, and maybe some supplements...
I went to musclemag few years back but their prices are up there...

In Oakville there are also a GNC at Neyagawa and Dundas and and one of the bricks and motor SND stores on Dorval and North Service Road ( mall with the Futureshop and ToysRUs). SND has some pretty good prices, but GNC has a much better return policy i.e. there is one. If you aren't happy with an SND product, tough sh.it. Still if you know exactly what you're buying SND is pretty hard to beat price wise.
There is also a Herbalist in the mall at Upper Middle and 8th line. Nothing too big as far as selection goes now, but where the Crappy Tire used to be is going to be a big fancy new Primiere Fitness. Selection will likely improve dramatically once that's in. I didn't buy it at the time, but the last time I was in there they had a tub of creatine (1000g) for like $14. Don't know if it was crap or not, but the price was nice.
Musclemag is too overpriced. Skip going there.

Just wanted to clarify this here........;)
SND 's return policy has changed alittle bit yes, but it's still not just plain "Tough Sh!t"
As long as it's been with in 30 days, and minimal amounts have been used, you are fine. However it is exchange only now. Having your receipt is a good idea however as long as your name is in the computer system , then there is no problem.
That is all:)

SND is just supps, I don't believe they sell anything like chalk or weightbelts. You can find their product selection online, in the store it won't be as diverse though.
For equipment there is musclemag which you've seen, and fitness depot, which isn't bad. I've seen a couple others around but forget their name.

SND website is http://www.sndcanada.com
The Fitness Depot in Oakville(don't know if there is one in Mississauga) is at Trafalgar and South Service road. A ways east on South Service next to the Pioneer pools. Just hop on the 403 and merge into the QEW to get off at Trafalgar. Turn left and it will be the second light (the first is the eastbound offramp from the QE. The light I'm talking about is just past the car dealership where the Taco Bell and Licks is). Turn left onto South Service.
I grabbed a nice recumbant bike there for a half decent price. They have weightbelts and I'm sure they have chalk too. Their freeweights are also like 50 cents a pound and are the solid hex dumbells. You might be able to get cheaper prices on adjustable weights, but I've always found them to be a pain in the @ss when I need to quickly up or cut back on weight mid set.
