Ok, any constructive replies to this will be appreciated.

I currently mix caffeine with my protein shakes (which i drink 4 times a day) for increased energy (and believe me, it`s made a very good impact on my workouts).

As from April, i`m planning to begin my cutting period, in which i`ll stop my creatine intake and pass on to have Hydroxycut (it`s cheaper than Xenadrine over here, yes it`s true).

Now, since hydroxycut already has caffeine in it, and i already have caffeine each day, should i limit myself to get caffeine from hydroxycut or continue to have caffeine as normal + hydroxycut ?

You think option 2 would lead to an overtake of caffeine and result in a problem ?

Hydroxycut reccoments 9 pills a day, but i`ll take 3 / day.

I would just stick to the caffeine in the hydroxycut. This is just my opinion though. If the hydroxycut doesn't make you jittery at all, I would say it would probably be okay to have a cup of coffee, otherwise I'd just stick with the hydroxycut only.

so you suggest no coffee at all then when taking hydroxycut ?

and btw, apart from that...i have coffee (i put it straight with the protein shake, tastes great) in the morning first thing, prior my workout, immediately after and the final one in the evening (all with protein shakes).

Now, i know caffeine increases energy levels but does it increase metabolism rate (simple words - does it help in burning fat more fast ?) ?

Is it ok to take it after workouts or its useless ?

Unless you want to hurt/kill yourself, don't take ANY stimulants with an EC/ECA. I used to drink a good amount of coffee and took Ginseng + Vitamin B supplements when bulking and I barely felt much at all - Now that I'm on an EC (Ripped Fuel) with 4 pills a day, I'm def. feeling it - stimulants would push you overboard if you're not careful. If you are taking the max (increase dosage from minimal amount over time) and not feeling a thing, you might want to add ginseng or something else, but caffeine may not be a good idea to add to your ECA.

There was a thread on this last week I believe, you might want to take a look at it.

But you probably won't want to drink coffee while on the ECA because that alone will get you up and going. If coffee is your morning ritual though, you might consider switching to decaf.
