Red Bull question

has anyone ever tried red bull? If yes, did it really give you that extra energy boost like they say?

Yes, I've tried Red Bull. It actually tastes pretty good, unfortunately it did nothing energy wise.

its basically sugar and **** loads of caffeine, i cant see where it would fit in to anyones diet, unless you were on a cheat day or something.

I like the real redbull, from Thai land, comes in a glass bottle w/ Thai writing all over it. I LOVE the taste plus it gives me a decent boost but no more than a cup or 2 of coffee.

It tastes good, gives you a small energy push, and screws your metabolism up and make you crash when you're done - b/c it's sugar and caffeine. It's like drinking a couple of sodas before working out.

No, it's crap if you're cutting.

:withstupi The excess sugar probably isn't the best thing if you are cutting. If you are taking ECA, the excess caffeine could be harmful.

OK one night at the bar I decided to have a few drinks (about 4) that were mixed with Red Bull. Now you can ask Pup, I can drink most guys under the table, but HOLY ****, that kicked my ass. I could hardly walk, as in my designated driver had to carry me home. Yes carry me up the steps and put me in bed. And then next morning, yeah it's only the second time ever that I was hungover.

All in all not a good experience

first time I had red bull was in Portugal on a trip; I flew out of Toronto early, laid over in Heathrow and then went on to Lisbon. By the time I got there, I'd be awake for nearly 24 hours, a large chunk of that on planes and in airports.

I started drinking red bull and vodkas and achieved this sort of surreal hyperactive-drunken state that I'm sure was a combination of the caffiene and the alcohol

More recently I was using blue Revs as mixer for vodka. That was somewhat more nasty.

if you think red bull and vodka is good, then get ahold of some SOBE adrenaline and mix it with vodka, much much better than red bull.

I like Red Bull. I use to buy it at Wholesale price (35pk for $20)
I would take one in the morning with a dose of Xenadrine before I went to the GYM it helped.

The biggest energy increase, i have had gotten from is water. Maybe, i drank to much and got high but drink about 4.5 litres a day and you will see a diffference.

Not only is the adrenaline better, it has nutrients where the red bull has Nill.

There is also an energy drink called AMP that is in a can very similar to that of Adreneline. Amp also tastes much better than Red Bull.

I've never had red bull, but I can't see how it can make you more intoxicated, unless it hides the taste of alcohol. Most bars thats not a problem. I can see having a hangover, all the sugar and caffeine, probably doesn't help dehyration.

Allie-If you've only been hingover twice you need drink more. I am a pretty experienced drink and don't get hungover much, but I have been more then twice.
I see your at MSU, you need to come north of the bridge for a little seasoning. I got some statisics on alcohol consumption per state, wisconsin 3, Michigan 33?. Downstate dragging the rest of us down.
