If you guys had a choice while bulking to eat 8 eggs (600 calories) everyday or 7-8 cups of milk (600 calories) everyday what would you choose?

I guess the question is what do you think is better for putting on size - eggs or milk? :micro:

Egg whites are a superior protein to milk but whole eggs contain saturated fat. But then again, milk contains sugars.

For bulking I would have to go with skim milk and egg whites with a couple yolks a day but not 8.

I'd eat 4 eggs and 3.5 cups of milk.

Or if i was at the stage in bulking where i'm past caring i'd eat both.

I prefer eggs to milk. The saturated fat in eggs isn't really that high, 1.5g per egg, so if you ate 6 whole eggs, it is still only 9g of sat fat per day which is okay if that is your only saturated fat for the day, if not, then you may have to drop your intake of whole eggs.

For bulking? The milk. Eggs are great, but without any carbs in your diet, you can FORGET about gaining muscle mass. Do the milk thing. Milk is the ultimate weight gainer. Sugar and protein. What else you need, eh?

I never said I wasn't eating any carbs. I'm on a 40/30/30 split with around 4k calories / day.

Now that I think of it, I'm actually eating equivelant to 8 eggs and around 2 liters of milk.

Instead of the milk I eat 3 cups of 2% cottage cheese daily which is a milk product, and has 600 calories in it.

I also eat bagels, oatmeal, and potatoes as other carb sources.
