Quick Q guys, how do you measure you creatine?
Say if i was using 2-3g per day, what would this be an equivilent of, e.g. tablespoon, teaspoon etc...
im sure someone will have it worked out,
cheers,
Andrew

If I remember right, a rounded teaspoon was 5 grams.

I wouldn't fret too much over exact measurements for creatine. It's cheap and too much won't hurt you.
And yeah, Paul is correct, a teaspoon is 5g.

Does it not say it on the container?

go to a pharmacist and ask him to measure it for you on his digital scale. then take you creatine and put it in a small recipient (an old bottle of med) then put a line on it. next time just pour in the recipient creatine to the line and go to your pharmacist and ask him if it is 5 g (or whatever you asked him to measure you the first time)

uhh, who the hell cares THAT much?
I've always wondered if by teaspoon they mean a measuring teaspoon, or a silverware teaspoon

I would say measuring teaspoon but if you use a silverware teaspoon it is not going to matter that much. A little extra creatine is not going to hurt you.

wtf what do you mean by this, 'who the hell cares' is the attitude of a loser.
I care because i want to take optimal amounts for the job it provides and not simply pee the excess out.
it has been shown that high levels can cause stress on teh liver

uhh, just to clarify, my comment wasn't directed towards you, it was directed at the comment about multiple trips to the pharmacist. And if you DO care THAT much, then....
