Does whey go bad?

I have some 8 month old whey powder, and am wondering if it is still good.

Yeah it has an expiration date on it....just look somewhere on the tub. As long as you kept it away from heat and moisture then its prolly fine. I'd sorta treat it like any other food product....want to keep it sealed, away from moisture and heat. Thats about it.

Have u opened your can of whey?
If it´s still sealed u can rely on the expiring date, but if it´s opened, and it haven´t been used for 8 months.
I would not use it at all, just throw it away....unfortunetly.

If it looks good and smells good then it is probably fine. I would just mix it up and give it a shot. Should be fine.

Sometimes there's no expiration date, but there should be a "lot number." Just a bunch of numbers somewhere on the product. In two cases, I've contacted that manufacturer and been provided the manufacture and expiration date by using the lot number. Can be done online with an EAS product.

Generally good for two years assuming a tight seal.
