Just in case you guys didn't know, the subway chicken teriyaki sub footlong with double meat is that DAMN GOOD. YES YES, for only like 7.50 you can get all that nutrition.

Yes becoming Jared is plausible.

if i ever hear anyone mention wantingto look like Jared from subway im going to puke.

besides anyone who knows the least bit about dieting knows he had his stomach stapled and some fat boy like him would never have the willpower to only have a sub and a half per day.

I was getting ready for my NHE carb-up earlier this week.....trying to see what tasty desert I would finish the carb up with. I noticed Avatar was eating McDonald's Fruit n' Yogurt Parfait's at 31g carbs and 2.5g fat.

I went to the McDonalds website to confirm.....and found out that the AMERICAN parfaits have 52-65g carbs and 5-6g fat each (without...or with granola on top) In Canada they offer them on their "Light Menu" and they're better for you. They do no such thing in the States.

Screwed once again.....

if you think about it, you eat 4 a day, 3200 cals, and 426 gs of protein, VERY GOOD if you ask me. (Granted it would cost you about $210 a WEEK, but it would be your only groceries too.

You sure would have plenty of sodium in your diet. :)

16g of sodium... Is that really bad?
Where would all the sodium come from? The bread? The chicken?
I work in subway so I know all about big sandwiches :D Free footlong whenever I work, with like triple meatplus extra meat on top of that.

Mmmmmmmmmm.

Well there is 2200 mg of sodium in a footlong sub, plus the amount of adding double meat. That is a lot of sodium IMO. The majority of the sodium would probably come from the processed chicken and the sauce that they use. This does not include the sodium from the cheese, mustard and other condiments.

The Subway nutrition page is located at http://www.subway.com/web_docs/nutrition/USA_Sandwiches.stm . Here is the data on a 6" Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sub:

380 calories, 59g carb, 26g protein, 5g fat.

If I assume that a foot long sub has 2x the quantities of 6" sub, a foot long regular sub would have the following data:

720 calories, 118g carb, 52g protein, 10g fat

If I assume 34 of the 52 grams protein are "meat" (vegetarian foot long sub has 34g less protein than chicken teriyaki), 6 of the 10 grams fat are "meat", and 190 of the 720 calories are "meat" (34x4 +6x9 = 190), then a foot long "double meat" sub would have the following data:

910 calories, 118g carb, 86g protein, 16g fat

How did you arrive at your calorie and protein calculations? I suspect you are overestimating the protein total.

Lots of protein, but how much of that will your body actually use? The body can only digest so much protein in each meal.

OOO I just doubled the amount of the protein twice because i thought the bulk came from the meat. Sorry, dudes, isn't there a way to kick it up further? Well I I guess you can eat something else too.

I'm with Nejar on this one (except for the Jared thing). I get mine on wheat bread and without cheese. Since I'm cutting, a foot long is great to split into 2 meals (400cals, 50g protein per 6".)

And yes, they are THAT DAMN GOOD.
