Ive been pondering the idea of adding more beef to my diet, i went to my supermarket yesterday and was confused by all the different types available.
Could anyone reccomnend the cuts i should go for in terms of best protein value and lower fat levels.
cheers

I just look at it and buy the leanest one I see.

Like Shao-Lin said, your eyes will lead you to the best cuts avail that day.
I usually look for
Eye of Round
Sirloin Tip
London Broil
Flank
Filet Mingion
92-96% lean Ground
lean boneless beef ribs
and whatever else looks lean.

thank you :)
I thought i should use my eyes but ive heard of something called 'marbelling' which is fat which runs through the beef.
Hmmm i assumed that sirloin would be pretty lean
Marbelling is the white lines you see running through the beef.
Generally, the more expensive a piece of beef is (per pound, of course), the leaner it is.

Tri-Tip, Sirloin and T-bone are my favorites.
