If you know your going to have a high calorie meal one day. WOuld it be best to not eat the whole day and then eat the meal or eat normal and suffer the extra calories? Tomorrow is my friends birthday and I am cooking eggplant parmisan, which is his and my fav. I havnt had it in forever, so fo course I am going to have some. What should I do? thanx

Eat small, light meals the rest of the day (snack on a handful of nuts, salad for lunch, etc.). Don't starve the whole day and make that your only meal.

Also, you may want to do some extra cardio that day if you are really feeling guilty about it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you starve yourself then there is more of a chance that you will have more of the high cal meal. Plus one meal isn't going to make you gain all this weight. It will however boost your metabolisim and your body will burn it off. Cardio is ideal to burn off excess cals. Count it as a cheat day. Continue your diet the following day. You will feel better about it.
