When on a cycle, is it a must to up the weight significantly to gain mass??
I plan on only increase 5-10 lbs on most lifts in order to avoid injuries(maybe increase volume). This is gonna be my first cycle and i'm back to lifting since last 5 months after being off for 3 years. So far so good and avoidin injuries is my #1 priority right now...

just be careful, and move up as your strength increases. it is, IMO, mandatory to lift heavy to be big, just do it carefully using good form.

I have the same consideration because of my shoulder tendonitis. For this reason I use a rep range between 12-16. Once I can do more than 16 reps I increase the weight so I fail at 12-13. Training with the rep range allows me to increase my lifts without making my shoulders any worse.
