I just read the article on glutamine, and it sounds to me like I need it. I have complained about my muscle being flat for awhile and not staying big. This says it signifcally promotes growth. Is this the answer? It sound too good?
Some questions, I know its not be can you assure me this is not a cretein-like thing which will give me side effects?
Would I take this every day, once or twice as a drink, or only on workout days? Is this a drink?
Overall, is this a good idea for me or not? I don't want to buy it and hurt myself.

You don't need any supplements. You need to learn to eat right.
And glutamine is not everything its made out to be. Go eat some steak. You'll get more benefit out of it.

At this stage in your training, do not concern yourself with it. Concentrate on diet and your routine for now. Glutamine does not have creatine-like effects, and creatine doesn't really have any side effects either barring increased need for hydration.

no it is not the answer. the answer is diet and exercise. you keep putting up posts looking for a cure-all to become hercules. it aint easy dude, its gunna take alot of work and there is no magic pill for you to take.

alright, I'll stay with protein whey. Why then though did the article give it a good review, would this just not work for me today?
So, mods, when is the ban coming?

Glutamine is best used as a recovery agent while cutting. You should not be cutting. You should be stuffing your face ******ed. Go do that now.

rodent, the glutamine ad said it would volumize your muscles and make false claims because the supplement industry thrives on consumers like you. the "willing to believe whatever i read" crowd. sorry to pick on ya, but dont buy anything. if you feel the need to buy something, go to the sports section of your bookstore and buy some nutrition or bodybuilding books. buy the ones not endosed by steroid users, theyre more honest.

Word. Oh, how fun that would be... *sighs dreamily* You don't need to worry about supps, just eat. Eating is fun, how could you possibly NOT want to take this advice that people have been giving you over the past few weeks!?
