View Full Version : Eat big on off days?

I've dropped down to a 3-4 day per week routine, and I was wondering if you guys still eat six meals a day on your days off or do you take it easy. I'm subject to gain fat easily, so I usually don't eat as much on my off days. What do you all think?

If you're looking to gain, you need to eat big everyday.

Your body start repairing itself when your not in the gym so it would be ideal to eat more after your workout and the day after if you want ot grow. Just don't overdue it.

I would think you want to keep your diet consistent if your lookin to be gaining bulk. off days or not, always eat your 6-8 meals a day.

I'm still new to nutrition myself, but I stay consistent and so far its workin.....

Eat the same number of meals and keep protein levels the same. If you wish to lower one macro it should be carbs.

I agree and easy to do. Just leave off the postworkout shake and that should be enough of a decrease in carbs right there.

i would aim to eat mariginally more on a trianing day, post work out, otherwise i will eat about the same.
