I've been eating these things pretty much 2 times a day now. I'd go with oats but I've noticed that wheat products like that upset my GI track. Anyways, yams and sweet potatos don't taste bad at all but I'm getting kinda bored of just throwing them in the microwave all the time. Anyone got some good recipes involving the two?

Simple.

Wash, wrap in foil, bake @ 400 for about 75 mins or so (until tender).

Open yam/potato, top with Saigon Cinnamon and artificial sweetener, mash well, eat.

Try them baked man. MUCH better than nuking them.

Ok...here's a couple ideas.

Normal baked potato...drizzle olive oil on potato, poke holes in it, cover in tin foil, bake for 1 hour at 375, mash and season with cinnamon

fries...julienne the potato, spray a baking sheet with cooking spray, spray potatoes with cooking spray, sprinkle salt and taco seasoning on the potatoes, cook for 25 min at 375

chips...slice into chips, follow same instructions for the fries

How about mashed yams with some milk on it :)

Yams taste a lot better if you cube, nuke them in the microwave, then mix them together with a variation of Maki's ground beef recipe.
