View Full Version : quick, ghetto tuna salad

I did this yesterday after working out and I was very pleased with the result! I mixed some tuna and shredded lettuce into a bowl, and to add some extra taste (and to help dull the taste of the tuna, it's ok, but I'm not a huge fan) and to sorta make the lettuce stick to the tuna and to take away some of the dryness, I used regular dijon mustard (0 cals!) as a 'dressing'. Try it sometime if you're in a hurry :D

Heh heh, I just made it and it's pretty good! But I used low-fat mayonnaise instead of the mustard.

I sometiems just put mustard on my tuna as well, tastes OK, all you can taste is mustard, so if ya cn deal with that, fire it up!

I've used yellow mustard, but never Dijon. I'll have to try that.

I actually really like the taste of mustard. I could eat mustard alone Edward Norton in Fight Club style.

I love mustard

I've also put ducksauce on my tuna. Not bad, gives it a little tang.

Open a can of tuna and just add a little olive oil and eat it like that, or add some lettuce/tomatoe too if you want.
