8 ounces of ground beef (lean, extra lean or regular)
1 small finely diced onion
Hot peppers
Garlic salt
Black pepper
Beef stock (small amount)

Heat pan, then throw the onions in until they're a yellowish color.
Throw ground beef in, stir and mix spices in. cook until done. Voila

You can serve it with rice (basmalti is the best)

Cheap and very tasty!

my recommendations:
- subtitute shallots for onion
- add 1-2 cloves of finely chopped fresh garlic
- if you use xtra lean, you may need to add some olive oil to the pan... wouldn't hurt to put a bit of oil in the pan to sautee the onions/shallots, neither
- for something different, mix in 2 tbsp of raspberry jam when you add the hot peppers

Interesting one there Cal.... the raspberry jam added to ground beef????? definitely something one would have to try in order to appreciate it I guess...

Sounds good. Probably could do the same thing with ground chicken or turkey.

I'd probably throw some cayene in and minced garlic.
Why are you heating the onions before the beef? I always put them in together.
