is protien really that good for you???
taking protien only, do you need supplements to build muscle or is protien all you need?

alot of ppl are on stuff to get big fast.. is it really needed???

It's not really a neccesity, but it helps alot.

NOTHING can beat a balanced diet.

By definition supplements are to be used in the absence of adequate intake of protein etc. in the diet. If you consume enough in your diet, which is difficult to do with hard training, then there is no need to take supplements. Without eating all day everyday, you can take supps to make up for the gaps in your diet.

protein powder isn't nescessary. It just helps, especially post workout. No need for added summplement other than food to build muscle.

You will need carbohydrates and healthy fats as well along with adequate protein intake. Get your diet down first and then worry about supplements. As others have said supplements are not necessary but do make it easier to get an adequate supply of calories, protein, vitamins, minerals, etc.
