Well... how big is the file you're trying to attach? Find it on your computer, right click, check the properties. If it's too big, it won't attach properly. In which case, resize it or send it to somebody who can do it for you.

you look very good, I will add my usual :drooling: and :hump:

but might i suggest working on some more muscle development (even though you are fitness oriented) on the arms and delts especially and also some work on increasing legs (quads)

you will inevitable lose some whilst dieting for contests but imo this will give more proportion and symmetry to your body

welcome to WBB

You look great.

If you are interested in fitness modelling you will have to gain some lbm tho.

you do look VERY tiny next to that cupboard

Relentless
03-17-2003, 03:19 PM
looks like you've made a good start, MissFit

I'd think you'll need to lose a little BF and gain a bit of LBM to succeed in your goal, but you're well on your way

Shoulders look like a strong point although I can't see 'em too well...

Alex.V
03-17-2003, 05:11 PM
I was going to say the same thing, cal. Legs look like they need to be built up a bit, and bf could drop a little. Make sure the obliques don't keep getting larger, looks like you're disposed to have them a bit large.

Looking great, though. What are your other stats? (bf%, workout routine, etc.)

oh and i guess its just me but i think the arms need some more size, but you guys think her shoulders are large enough?

MissFit
03-17-2003, 06:51 PM
my body fat is 15%. lower than that, women dont get their period. female body builders are usually around 11-13%. women are naturally fattier than men are. i have a really hard time building my legs; they are really long. i do two legs twice a week--and no, im not overtraining. my arms, shoulders, and back grow pretty fast. and before someone mentioned "if i want to compete" -- i dont. maybe it was the picture, but i dont have obliques--at all. thanks for everyones comments though :o) i'm 19 years old, just turned. if you look at the average age of a fitness model, i am probably exactly where they were at my age, for the most part. i started seriously training this past summer. my diet is really clean. umm--any other ques.?

Alex.V
03-17-2003, 06:52 PM
Well, for fitness competition, I'd say no. But a fitness MODEL needs a different body. Less extreme, more fit for a magazine cover than a stage.

Alex.V
03-17-2003, 06:54 PM
Well, if you want to build your legs... are you averse to going hypercaloric for a short period of time, adding on a few pounds there (specializing in legs during the bulk), then cutting down a bit? I'm only talking 5-6 pounds on the scale, nothing drastic.

You're right about the obliques, I glanced at the first picture too quickly.

the doc
03-17-2003, 06:55 PM
ok looked at the full body shot again and you have an excellent hourglass shape. IMO though i think you should bump up your leg size, and shoulders, and arms to give more overall size balance. From the pics i have seen of fit models they want a woman with some muscle. WHen you diet to lean out for a shoot i'd imagine this will cost you some muscle.

best wishes for success

the doc
03-17-2003, 06:57 PM
her obliques look cool to me but you have some wider hips (relative to your body) thus leading me to some of my previous suggestions.

MissFit
03-17-2003, 07:32 PM
i agree about not being big enough on arms, shoulders, legs. basically everything. im just alot taller and its very difficult to build muscle when your muscles are longer, not shorter. i was looking at savannah's pics, and she has a great body, im not disputing that, but her an i are going for two totally differnt looks. her upper body for **WHAT I AM GOING FOR** (just want to emphasize that i am not knocking her at all) is too masculine for what im trying to achieve.

thanks for the replies!

Buff
03-17-2003, 09:17 PM
I think you look great. You have really good shape thus far. I'm not sure what you mean by fitness modeling and not competing because all of the fitness models I've ever worked with compete in fitness competions. If you mean posing in the mags, just add a bit more muscle, and even your physique out.

Black_Curtain
03-18-2003, 12:58 AM

You look SO good now, why ruin it by building massive legs? IMHO if you aren't planning on competing just stay the way you are, keep training and eating clean and just stay FIT.

By fitness model, I mean pose in the magazines, show the proper form, advertise products. I am talking about a Rachel Moore/Carol Grow type thing. They don't compete, if they do, it is in a figure contest, which I'm not against trying.

to get more constructive and detailed advice from the membership here, I recommend you:

- start a journal and post your diet/workout info
- post some pics or links to pics of women you want to look like, to give us an accurate sense of what you are going for
- post some 'standard pose' pics (front dbl bi, lat spread, etc, etc... standard poses are easiest to use for evaluation)
- also, if you can, get a better camera; looks like you're using a 2megapxel digital camera; not a bad one but a bit low on resolution; as you get more toned it may not pick up all the detail...

I think I understand what you mean you're trying to do, but this sort of thing would help things tremendously. Basically right now, your muscle tone is *just* starting to peek through, yeah? I'm thinking if you want to be on the cover of SHAPE or something, you'll need to lean up a bit and add a bit more mass overall as a couple of us have said.

Also, don't get it into your head that being taller is a disadvantage! There are many people, on this site and elsewhere, that have made great gains while being tall!

Bottom line: I think you have a great starting point and you're a fit and attractive girl. With some hard work and dedication there's no reason you can't succeed. Definitely make use of the many knowledgeable people here. Some of the members aren't the most *mature* people but many others are experts in their fields.

Good luck
Cal

I'm good:D .

As to your physique, you have the kind of figure a lot of women would love to have. I am not clear as to your exact goals, do you wish to compete in fitness contests, or to be a model? In other words, as the others mentioned, you are lacking in muscle size if you wish to be competitive in contests. If your goal is to be a bikini type of model, your body is completly in line with the women in Sports Illustrated and the like. As you mentioned Sav being too masculine in the upper body, it seems to me you must want to go for the bikini model look (and not a bad look indeed). Personally, I like both looks, Sav looks very feminine to me, yet muscular, while your look is more along the lines of the clothes models.

In any event, welcome aboard.

Welcome to the WBB family, as others have pointed out, to acheive your goals you will need to add some more lbm and drop a bit more bodyfat, symmetrically speaking, i would try to add some more mass to your quads/hamstrings as you have a nice wide shoulder base and the proportion seems to be a bit one sided, good luck with your goals and feel free to ask questions, we have a lot of knowledgeable people around here.

You definitley have the shape to be a fitness model....funny I've worked with both Rachel and Carol...super girls! You've chosen the right role models.
The only negative I have is maybe a bit more size to your quads, for the purpose of swimsuit shoots...
and that's really reaching.

MissFit

are they real? hhhmmm... :o)

yeah, the dresser is huge. im almost 5'7"

ill gradually get leaner. my upper abs are really good, easy to see & defined, my lower abs are flat and tight but you cant see them yet. working on it though.. i have good genes for abs. i figure with my diet and the right ammount of cardio i can lean up and get some more definition there

missfit,

i sent you a pm. i saw you were in ft lauderdale, just wondering where you went to HS. i live in ft lauderdale, but am at school.

i agree with most people here though, a little more quads, and overall LBM would complement your physique well. though i disagree about needing bigger delts. judging from your pictures, they have enough muscle, they just need to "push" a little bit more.
