Of course it's true. It's not surprising either. It's a common trend that could be seen over and over in my undergrad history classes. That's why it's imperative to question your government.

If no one has verified it by the end of the evening I can check my history texts on World War II when I get home and probably verify it. I know they talked of the subject but don't know directly about that quote.
