hi

im upping my cardio from 2x 30 minute cardio sessions a week to 4 or 5x cardio sessionsa week. im intaking around 1700 calories a day from mainly, protein and good fats (peanuts and oils). i also lift 3x a week. do you guys think the up in cardio exercises would put me into overtraining since my cal intake is too low? id eat more but im really trying to drop below 8% body fat, im at around 12 now. i wanna do this by mid may and the normal deffiency of 250cals or so wouldnt allow me to do this in that amount of time. so i guess the real question is, how long would i be able to sustain this/these routines without losing muscle? anyone have an estimate or any of you done this before for a sustained period of time and what were your results?

1700 cals sounds a bit low, which would lead to muscle loss.

Eat around 2000 cals, get 180g protein, and keep at your lifting and cardio. See what happens.
